I registered with topcoder.com today.
After all the job market is hard, and although I won't enjoy it, perhaps I one day will have to work for some company where the CEO can throw programmers he doesn't like into the "game grid" for a battle to the death. Seems increasingly likely in many ways.
In that case, just a bit of topcoders experience may be a good thing.
