I've wondered a long time whatever "Millennium hand and shrimp" meant, that bizarre phrase used by some of Terry Pratchett's characters. I thought it was some obscure slang or something, but I couldn't figure out for what... Until I searched the usenet archive, and found the answer straight from the primary source himself.
Apparently, it's from a program not unlike good old "Niall", the Non-intelligent language learner in AMOS.
